Spent Xmas in a beautiful and peaceful location. The rustic buildings and grounds were stunning and perfect for a winter getaway. The spacious room was well-equipped and comfortable. We loved the heated pool and relaxing hot tub for a perfect afternoon. The location was also great for exploring the nearby town with lots of restaurants and shops. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The lack of onsite dining facilities made it difficult to find a place to eat during the holiday season. We had to drive around for some time to find a place that was open.

The hotel had beautiful and historic buildings which added a unique charm to the place. the room we stayed in was nicely decorated and the gardens/forest surrounding the hotel were picturesque. the owners were friendly and accommodating, even preparing a lovely dinner for us upon our request. We appreciated the tranquility of the location and the homemade food.
The hotel did not offer dinner options, which was a disappointment. We had to settle for takeaway pizza and ate it in the garden.

We were captivated by the enchanting French Chateau we stayed at recently. the beautifully renovated rooms in the converted barn were top-notch, with a sympathetic touch to its historical charm. the gardens, surrounded by a serene forest, added to the tranquil atmosphere. the owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even preparing a delicious dinner upon our request.
Some guests felt disappointed that dinner was not offered on-site.
